Bill&Quantities is a Cocoa application for MacOS that allows you to build in an extremely simple and fast way metric estimates or price analyzes from price lists text tormat convertible from the application itself into native format. Both the final document and each price list can be exported in RTF from customizable templates: the final documents are perfectly formatted and ready to be printed, but can be further processed by word processing programs that read this format. Bill&Quantities installs a library to store price lists, RTF templates, the Manual and sample documents. It is clear that the use of Bill&Quantities is varied but always related to estimates, estimation of construction or renovation costs, value estimation, ... Its use is extremely simple and the documents produced are completely customizable because they use a standard format (Rich Text Format) that can be read by almost all word processors on the market. The application creates a document made up of command lines containing the instructions needed to compile a bill of quantities or a price analysis perfectly formatted according to the needs of the end user: these lines are simply created using a dialog box which presents the various options. The calculation or analysis documents use price lists which can be created directly by the user using simple text documents formatted following the import instruction.
